About
Victoria Williams
I am an Integrative trained and inclusive Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a strong Psychodynamic focus.
Registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a member of the Gendered Intelligence network of inclusive Counsellors and Therapists.

My approach combines different techniques associated with Psychodynamic theories, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems and The Rewind Technique for trauma and PTS/PTSD, in an empathic way to support each client in what is best for them. I will use a wide range of different modalities at any time dependant on the clients’ needs. I am trauma informed and take care to keep the client's safety at the centre of all work.
I believe in counselling and psychotherapy as a collaborative process. We can explore difficult issues and gain more insight into understanding you and your problems whilst finding solutions that are right for you. We can work through historical or recent trauma's to find different perspectives, more clarity, greater balance, and connection to yourself and others so you can lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I provide a non-judgemental, inclusive, affirmative and confidential space to explore these difficult thoughts and feelings to gain greater understanding.

I offer both short term (solution focused brief therapy) and longer-term individual counselling and psychotherapy sessions for clients and student counsellors. I am also available to work with businesses for EAP provision.

Whether you are looking to have just a few sessions to think about a specific issue or situation, or would like to consider longer-term therapy, I welcome anyone who feels that Counselling or Psychotherapy may be of help.
Depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, illness, bereavement, self-esteem, gender and sexuality, life-changes and historical wounds are just some of the reasons why you may want to try therapy.
I work with people across the UK and in some cases with clients internationally. If you’re unsure if I can work with you, please email to find out.
